- Diet: Its main diet consists of fruits such as wild avocado, though it also consumes insects and small reptiles.
- Habitat: Prefers humid and cloud forests where it finds ideal wild avocado and shelter.

- Unique Plumage: Adult males stand out for their brilliant green and red plumage, while their tail can reach up to 1 meter in length, juvenile males have shorter tails of approximately 65 centimeters, making the Resplendent Quetzal an impressive bird and easy to identify in its natural habitat.
